Online Yoga series Sadhana Wellbeing

We are so excited to bring you two brand new series of classes from your favourite teachers; Arianna and James! Designed as 4 new classes per month, each series is taught in a progressive way over 3 months to help you achieve your goals. (12 classes in total each).

What to watch this month:

30 Day Challenge for Stress Awareness month

65% of people in the UK have felt more stressed since the COVID-19 restrictions began in March 2020 (*Source: Huawei). Feelings of disconnection, uncertainty and a worrying loss of control has led to a profound impact on our collective mental and physical health.

That’s why we are hosting a 30 Day Challenge this April  – our very own roadmap to help you find you’re your optimal health and wellbeing as life gradually returns to “normality”.

It takes 30 days to turn actions into habits, which is why we are encouraging our community to choose a physical, mental or emotional class from our library to practice every single day throughout the month. With classes ranging from 10 to 90 minutes, there is something for everyone to incorporate into their day.

Invite your friends, family and anyone who might need a little extra TLC this month….we are all in this together! Please share your progress with us on our instagram  @sadhanalive using the hashtag #sadhana30daychallenge. Good luck!

Online Yoga Teacher Training: Yin Yoga Teacher

Yin yoga practice is designed to help you sit longer, and more comfortably in meditation by stretching the muscles around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine). A passive practice, Yin Yoga involves variations of seated and supine poses typically held for 3 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of fascia. When combined with internal awareness and introspection, the practice of yin can also become a highly meditative tool to cultivate inner stillness.

This Yin program is a top up and only available to existing yoga teachers (any style of yoga) with 200hrs or more of training. This training will enable you to teach yin and is led by experienced, senior teachers and a guest instructor. Every aspect of our training is inspired by Sadhana’s core values of Community, Empowerment, Wellbeing, and Acceptance. We want to equip you with the tools to share the joy of Yin yoga with others and to deepen your connection to yourself.

Due to UK national lockdown our London studios remain closed.
We plan to reopen in step 3 of the government roadmap.

Step 3 – not before 17 May
Social contact

As part of Step 3, no earlier than 17 May, the government will look to continue easing limits on seeing friends and family wherever possible, allowing people to decide on the appropriate level of risk for their circumstances.

Business and activities

Most businesses in all but the highest risk sectors will be able to reopen. In all sectors, COVID-Secure guidance will remain in place and businesses may not cater for groups bigger than the legal limits. Other indoor locations to open up in Step 3 include indoor entertainment venues such as cinemas and children’s play areas; the rest of the accommodation sector, including hotels, hostels and B&Bs; and indoor adult group sports and exercise classes.

The past year has been tough and now there is light at the end of the tunnel! We want to support our community’s mental and physical wellbeing while we adjust to the new normal.

Our Helping Hands commit to at least eight hours per month supporting our studio, helping us with Marketing, IT and PR. They also lend a hand setting up before and after classes. In return they get to practise any of our yoga and movement classes for just £40 per month.

We are currently looking for dedicated people to join our Marketing Helping Hands Team. Receive a discounted monthly package in exchange for your marketing brain.
